Robert Higgins
Founder
Robert began installing carpet at age 17. After being discharged from the military he came back to South Florida and went back to his trade. In 1985, at 35, he made the decision to start his own company, primarily installing carpets in homes. In the late 1980s and 1990s the company began flooring installations on large commercial jobs.
Today, Robert oversees East Coast Flooring & Interiors and has forged a formidable team to become a leading South Florida flooring and installation company.
Wendy Higgins
Vice President
Wendy grew up in the flooring business, as her father and grandfather sold supplies to the contractors and installers. It is through the family business that she met her husband, Robert Higgins. After raising her children, Wendy joined East Coast Flooring & Interiors in 1990. Working alongside her husband, Wendy oversees the office and showroom, and works with the design team.
Jeremy Lewin
Sales & Estimating Manager
Jeremy is the second generation of family to work at East Coast Flooring & Interiors. Jeremy works in tandem with the sales team to expand the company’s interests in both residential and commercial projects. In addition, he is the primary estimator and works closely with clients, helping in selection and logistics.
Joe Silverman
Project Manager
Joe has been working for East Coast Flooring & Interiors for 12 years. Prior to joining the company, he worked in his family’s carpet installation business, where he learned the trade. As project manager, Joe supervises and oversees all installations for both residential and commercial projects. Joe speaks five languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Hebrew and French.
